• Study Abroad Counsellor will provide advice and support to prospective study abroad students throughout the process of identifying and selecting appropriate courses, education institutions, scholarships, and applying for course entry and visas.
• In addition, counselors are responsible for providing application support to family members applying for partner, guardian or visitor visas.
• Counsellors play a supporting role in providing information to education partners and providing training to and university-based study abroad staff to understand the process and required levels of documentation for student applications.
• Identify and conduct outreach with prospective education partners, form agreements.
• Attend university and education partner training events and shops.
• Identify the skills and career interests and goals of prospective students.
• Counsel prospective students regarding appropriate study abroad options.
• Complete application forms for admissions and visas on behalf of applying students, gathering all required documentation and background information and conducting necessary checks and verification.
• Ensure the follow-up with the clients on their application status until the case is complete.
• Liaise with overseas education providers throughout the application process, responding in a timely manner to all requests.
• Liaise with applying students resolving queries and sourcing addition information as required.
• Provide status updates to applicants throughout the process.
• Maintain all confidential client information and documents in a secure manner as per the relevant policy.
• Maintain and update the database and register of all legal teams to ensure compliance with immigration regulations.
• Assist clients with document preparation and submission for visa applications.
• Provide verbal interpretation services during meetings or consultations, if needed.
• Maintain a confidential and organized database of translated materials.
• Handle confidential and sensitive documents with strict adherence to privacy policies.
• Perform other tasks as reasonably instructed by management.

Bachelor's Degree in English, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred Professional translation experience, preferably in legal or visa documentation for 1 to 3 years as a minimum
