About the role

The seed funding program aims to provide financial support for new development opportunities by sharing risks in new startups or new ventures through support to startups, upscale, commercialize enterprises that innovate and invest in the marine or related marine fisheries value chains.
The seed funding will support 3 main areas.
(i) Support for new starting-up enterprises, (ii) Scale-up of newly formed or commercialized enterprises targeted by the entrepreneur outreach and/or incubation programs, and (iii) Modernization of marine sector post-harvest enterprises for food safety including upgrades and modernization of fishing vessels.
This role involves application and guideline development, development services to prepare proposals for seed funding, application filtering, due diligence documentation review, coordinating and judging evaluation sessions, scoring and ranking of applications, and grant conditions and disbursement preparation.
The role will also involve grant funding monitoring and evaluation.

Requirements

Interested Implementers/partners to submit sealed proposals and other required documents for the Seed Funding to Support Commercialisation, Modernization and Scale-up.
The required documents include: Company Profile, Company Registration (e.g., Patent & VAT Certificates or other licenses with relevant authorities), Concept notes or proposals include a brief activities plan and team member profiles, The detailed budget plan of program arrangements and timelines, Samples of previous projects, The expected result of the program.
