• The Sound Engineer will manage the audio setup, operation, and sound quality for live music events, concerts, and public performances.
• You will be responsible for ensuring crystal-clear sound, minimal feedback, and a professional audio experience for both performers and audiences.
• Set up and operate sound equipment for live music shows, concerts, and events Mix live audio during performances using analog or digital consoles closely with artists, stage managers, and production staff to meet sound requirements Perform sound checks with performers and adjust EQ, gain structure, monitor mixes, and levels Troubleshoot technical issues in real time with minimal disruption Set up and manage microphones, monitors, DI boxes, in-ear systems, and PA systems Maintain and protect audio gear and cables; assist in teardown and load-out Ensure compliance with venue sound limits and local noise regulations Coordinate with lighting and stage crews to ensure seamless production Support multi-stage or multi-artist setups when needed Be required to remain at THE GONG or the designated event venue until the event is fully completed, unless otherwise approved by the Music Director / General Manager (GM).
• Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance, arriving on time for , rehearsals, recordings, events, and other assigned activities.
• Follow and respect all THE GONG rules, policies, procedures, and instructions from the Music Director / GM and management.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adjust to changing s, operational needs, events, and assignments when required.

Proven experience in live sound engineering (minimum [2-5] years preferred) Deep understanding of live sound systems, including FOH (Front of House) and monitor mixes Proficiency with digital and analog mixing consoles (e.g., Behringer X32, Midas, Yamaha, Avid, etc.) Strong grasp of gain staging, EQ, compression, effects, and routing Formal training in audio engineering or related field (
