About the role

To lead and drive the development and growth of ABA BillZone, a payment collection and mini-app platform delivered through ABA’s digital channels by owning strategy execution, product development, partner onboarding and integration, and overall operational performance across cross-functional teams.
Set and execute BillZone’s strategy and roadmap; establish KPIs and performance governance.
Lead product innovation and delivery across bill collection services, mini-app experiences, and supporting merchant/back-office portals.
Drive biller/merchant acquisition and partnership development; define pricing/packaging models.
Own onboarding and integration processes; ensure service reliability, SLAs, and continuous operational improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Marketing on positioning, campaigns, and partner activation.
Identify and apply relevant AI advancements, including AI-driven agentic commerce trends, to improve customer/merchant experience, automation, and platform differentiation (in a secure and compliant manner).
Advise team members and ensure technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Provide leadership and guidance to the department in fulfilling their responsibilities through coaching and mentoring.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in , IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s is a plus.
Minimum eight years of experience in payments, fintech, bill payment/collection platforms, platform ecosystems, digital banking, or related fields.
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams across product, technology delivery, and commercial growth/partnerships.
Track record of scaling platforms with measurable and operational outcomes.
Strong understanding of payment collection flows: onboarding, payment acceptance, settlement/reconciliation, reporting, and exception handling.
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Familiarity with regulated environments (security, data protection, risk/compliance).
Good understanding of modern AI developments and the ability to translate agentic commerce and automation trends into practical product initiatives.
