About the role

Acquire and onboard large loan clients, analyze and process their loan applications by conducting credit investigations, scoring, credit checking, and other underwriting activities to ensure good lending and loan quality.
Maintain existing and build new clients pool.
Discuss credit-related issues and loan packaging to provide sound financial advice and tailored solutions, and cross-sell other banking products.
Collect required documents from clients for loan application processing.
Gather valid applicants’ financial records.
Conduct site visits at clients’ premises and proffered collaterals during loan assessment.
Verify documents and ensure authenticity and completeness.
Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Report.
Execute loan contracts and arrange loan disbursement timely.
Make regular site visits to existing clients to determine actual conditions of the loan and collateral.
Closely monitor recommended/processed loans for timely repayment.
Collaborate with related credit teams to follow up on post disbursement conditions and financial covenants.
Follow up delinquent clients immediately.
Handle complex clients’ issues or complaints.
Stay abreast of new types of loans and financial services and products.
Act as a role model within the team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
Minimum three years of experience in banking or large lending function.
In-depth knowledge of the bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, loans, and credit risk management.
Excellent sales skills, customer relationship building, and networking.
Excellent customer service, client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinking skills, professional communication skills, assertiveness, and team dynamic.
Strong credit evaluation and analysis skills with extensive insights related to large loans in Cambodia context.
Financial literacy and ability to interpret and analyze financial statements.
Sense of judgment and common sense with both qualitative and quantitative tools to provide sound and comprehensive analysis/evaluation on complex credit applications.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English and/or other languages.
Proficient Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
