About the role

Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies, applicable laws, and requirements of regulatory authorities.
Develop, update, and implement compliance procedures and internal control systems.
Conduct periodic compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal inspections.
Prepare compliance reports for the Management Board and relevant government authorities.
Support the implementation of KYC (Know Your Customer), AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism) procedures, and customer due diligence.
Coordinate with relevant departments to identify, assess, and control compliance risks.
Monitor and update new legal regulations related to fintech and financial services.
Organize training and provide guidance to employees regarding compliance requirements and regulations.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external partners when necessary.
Investigate and handle compliance issues or transactions and activities showing signs of abnormality or potential violations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Administration, or a related field.
Good English communication and writing skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Honest, highly responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to independently and under pressure.
Candidates with experience in compliance, banking, fintech, or risk management are preferred.
Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and Cambodia’s compliance regulatory frame is an advantage.
