About the role

Provide legal and compliance support for EDX’s daily operations.
Review and draft contracts, agreements, policies, procedures, and other legal documents.
Monitor compliance with applicable Cambodian laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
Support regulatory reporting, licensing, and communication with relevant authorities.
Conduct compliance reviews and identify potential legal and regulatory risks.
Support AML/CFT, KYC, customer due diligence, and internal compliance requirements.
Advise management and relevant departments on legal and compliance matters.
Maintain proper legal and compliance records and support internal/external audits.
Assist in developing and improving EDX’s compliance frame and internal controls.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant legal or compliance experience.
Strong knowledge of Cambodian laws, regulations, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in financial services, FinTech, securities, digital assets, banking, or exchange is highly preferred.
Good understanding of AML/CFT, KYC, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
Good communication and interal skills.
Chinese (Mandarin) communication skills are an advantage.
