About the role

Manage daily cheque clearing operations through the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).
Oversee inward and outward cheque processing, return cheque, interbank transfer operations, exception handling, and all clearing transactions within prescribed cut-off times.
Coordinate with branches and relevant departments to ensure smooth clearing operations with keeping inform customer on their cheque situation such as lack of money, lack of signature, and other problem.
Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with NBC regulations and internal SOP.
Supervise local fund transfer processing through NBC payment systems and other approved transaction channels.
Monitor the AMK Bank’s current account and reserve account maintained with NBC.
Monitor the consolidated inventory report of all branches and HQ such as chequebook and bank’s cheque regularly and well keeping preparation.
Coordinate with Treasury and Finance Departments regarding funding requirements.
Ensure proper segregation of duties and maker-checker controls.
Oversee daily reconciliation of clearing and interbank transactions.
Prepare management reports and operational performance analyses.
Ensure timely resolution of branch and customer inquiries related to clearing and interbank transactions.
Manage customer complaints relating to cheque clearing, returned items, and transaction processing.
Liaise with NBC, correspondent banks, local banks, payment service providers, and internal stakeholders.
Represent the Bank in clearing and payment-related meetings when required.
Other necessary tasks assigned by Operations Department.

Requirements

At least Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2 years in supervisory or managerial roles in banking sector involving clearing house process and payment operations, and using experience in using NBC system.
Good organizational and time management skill.
High patience, analytical, good communication and problem-solving skills.
High integrity and confidentiality.
English proficiency.
Microsoft office word & Excel proficiency.
