The Channel Development Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing trade marketing initiatives that support sales growth across On-Trade and Off-Trade channels.
The role serves as a key partner to the Sales team by developing promotional programs, coordinating commercial communication, monitoring campaign effectiveness, conducting market analysis, and providing actionable insights to improve channel performance and achieve objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, coordinate, and execute trade promotion programs to drive sales growth and market penetration.
Prepare promotional guidelines and communicate campaign objectives to Sales teams nationwide.
Conduct briefing sessions for new promotion mechanics, pricing updates, trade incentives, and commercial initiatives.
Monitor the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and recommend improvement actions.
Track promotion performance and prepare post-campaign evaluations.
Provide day-to-day trade marketing support to the Sales organization.
Coordinate with the Design and Marketing teams to develop promotional materials, sales toolkits, and communication assets.
Ensure promotional materials are delivered accurately and on time.
Support product launches and key commercial initiatives with effective communication materials.
Prepare sales presentations and promotional documentation for commercial meetings.
Plan and execute seasonal trade campaigns such as Wedding, Function, Festival, and other activation programs.
Forecast POSM and promotional material requirements.
Coordinate allocation and distribution of promotional materials across all sales territories.
Monitor stock availability of POSM and promotional items.
Evaluate campaign performance and recommend future improvements.
Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and supporting documents for promotional activities.
Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and relevant departments for approval and purchasing processes.
Monitor promotional spending to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
Maintain proper documentation of promotional expenses and supporting records.
Conduct regular market visits to monitor trade execution and customer engagement.
Collect competitor information on pricing, promotions, new products, and market activities.
Analyze market trends, channel performance, and consumer behavior.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc commercial reports with recommendations for management.
Prepare internal memos, announcements, and commercial communications.
Coordinate promotion updates, pricing announcements, sponsorship agreements, and trade incentive communications.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance trade marketing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of commercial activities.
Perform other duties assigned by the Trade Marketing Manager.

លក្ខខណ្ឌតម្រូវការងារ

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or FMCG.
Strong understanding of trade promotions, sales operations, and channel management.
Good analytical, planning, and project coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel regularly to support field execution and market visits.
Good command of Khmer and English.
