The Role As a Technical Engineer, you will serve as the technical backbone of our distribution operations. You are not just a support engineer; you are a trusted advisor. You will support our partners and resellers by designing solutions, conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs), and providing expert-level post-sales support for the enterprise brands in our portfolio (such as Microsoft, AWS, Cohesity, FuriosaAI, Altai and others). Key Responsibilities 1. Pre-Sales Technical Advisory - Collaborate with the sales team to provide expert technical guidance to partners and resellers. - Design and architect customized solutions based on partner needs using our vendor portfolio (Microsoft, AWS, Cohesity, etc.). - Conduct Solution Demonstrations and Proof of Concept (POC/V) exercises to validate technology fit for prospective clients. - Assist partners in developing technical proposals, bill-of-materials (BOM), and statements of work (SOW). 2. Technical Enablement & Support - Act as the technical subject matter expert for SIS’s key vendor brands, maintaining deep knowledge of product updates and best practices. - Provide post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and peak performance of deployed solutions. - Troubleshoot complex technical issues escalated by partners, acting as the liaison between the partner and vendor support teams. - Deliver technical training or workshops to partners to help them effectively deploy and manage solutions. 3. Infrastructure & Solution Delivery - Assist partners with the deployment and integration of network, cloud, and AI/Data management solutions. - Monitor industry trends and maintain certifications relevant to our core solution areas (Cybersecurity, Cloud, Networking, AI). - Ensure all technical deliverables meet enterprise-grade quality and security standards. Qualifications & Requirements - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network administration, system engineering, or cloud infrastructure. Previous experience in a technical distributor or systems integrator environment is a strong advantage. Technical Skills: - Core Competencies: Proficient in network architecture, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments. - Brand Experience: Hands-on experience with technologies similar to our portfolio (e.g., Microsoft Azure/365, AWS, Cohesity data management, or Altai wireless networking). - Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in multi-vendor environments. - Languages: Fluency in Khmer and professional working proficiency in English (for vendor communication and technical documentation). Preferred Certifications: - Cloud: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
