About the role

This consultancy involves conducting an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA).
Key objectives include scoping and screening, analyzing the policy and legal framework, describing the project, collecting baseline data, assessing environmental and social impacts, developing mitigation measures and an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), conducting stakeholder consultations, establishing a Grievance Redress Mechanism and External Communication Plan, and developing a central Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) with training manuals and workshops.
Deliverables include a screening and scoping report, draft and final ESIA reports with ESMP, a central ESMS, a non-technical summary, and ESAP and ESMS training materials with training sessions.

Requirements

Interested consultants/firms are required to submit a technical and financial proposal, including a detailed budget and plan, demonstrating relevant qualifications and experience, and including the CVs of key project personnel. Submit 2 examples of previous ESIA reports. The consultants/firms must demonstrate

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Khmer.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with local communities, government entity at sub-national and national level, and relevant stakeholders.
