They coordinate the milling process, lead teams of operators, enforce quality control, and maintain strict adherence to food safety standards. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Management: Execute production schedules, maximize mill yields, and monitor equipment to ensure consistent flour quality and moisture levels. Team Leadership: Manage shift personnel, allocate manpower, and provide hands-on training to operators on proper machinery use. Safety & Compliance: Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), enforce food safety protocols, and maintain a safe, clean working environment. Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical or production issues, coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve abnormalities, and minimize downtime. Reporting: Compile and submit shift reports on milling outputs, packing details, and equipment performance to the Production Manager. A Baking Technician in a flour mill conducts routine baking tests on milled flour to ensure it meets strict quality, consistency, and performance standards. They bridge the gap between milling production and end-use, troubleshooting baking issues and supporting commercial sales. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Quality Assurance Baking Tests: Conduct routine test bakes (bread, pastries, cakes) on lab, batch, and commercial mill samples to evaluate flour performance, dough behavior, volume, and texture. New Product Development: Assist in formulating, testing, and developing new tailor-made flour blends or enriched products. Competitor Analysis & Troubleshooting: Analyze competitor flours, evaluate customer complaints, and test flour-streaming impacts. Customer Support & Demos: Assist the sales and technical teams by providing product demonstrations, technical training, and on-site support for industrial customers and bakeries. Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record dough absorption, loaf volume, and other metrics. Maintain compliance with safety, HALAL, HACCP, and food hygiene standards.
