The HR Supervisor supports the HR Manager in executing HR strategies, with a strong focus on leading Talent Acquisition for Operations roles and executing employer branding initiatives.
This role oversees day-to-day HR execution, supervises the HR team, and ensures recruitment, HR operations, compliance, and administrative processes are delivered effectively to support business growth.
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding:
Lead and execute Talent Acquisition for Operations roles, including cleaners, technicians, supervisors, and labor staff.
Supervise and coordinate the Senior TA and HR Officer to ensure strong sourcing pipelines and timely hiring.
Work closely with Operations to understand manpower demand, project timelines, and deployment requirements.
Drive field recruitment, labor pool development, referrals, and external sourcing partnerships (communities, NEA, TVET, agencies).
Monitor hiring progress, manpower readiness, and candidate quality; identify gaps and escalate solutions to HR Manager.
Lead the execution of employer branding initiatives related to recruitment and Operations hiring.
Coordinate recruitment branding activities such as career fairs, campus outreach, job campaigns, and recruitment events.
Work with Marketing/Design teams to develop recruitment materials, job posters, and employer branding content.
Represent Tunsai as an employer in external recruitment activities and partnerships.
Collect candidate and market feedback to improve employer branding effectiveness and report insights to the HR Manager.
Recruitment Coordination – Office & Support Roles:
Oversee recruitment execution for non-operations roles through the HR Officer.
Ensure consistent recruitment processes, candidate experience, and proper handover after hiring.
HR Operations & Administration Oversight:
Supervise the HR & Admin Officer in HR operations and administrative execution.
Ensure onboarding, contracts, employee records, attendance, and leave are managed accurately and on time.
Oversee compliance activities, including LACMS updates, NSSF registration, and HR documentation readiness.
Ensure HR policies and SOPs are implemented and followed across departments.
Team Leadership & Daily Coordination:
Lead and coordinate the HR team.
Assign tasks, track execution, and ensure accountability.
Coach team members to be solution-oriented, proactive, and professional in communication.
Conduct regular check-ins and provide performance feedback.
Employee Relations & Learning & Development Support:
Support positive employee experience and satisfaction by monitoring day-to-day HR touchpoints (onboarding, probation, communication, support responsiveness).
Act as a coordination point to gather employee feedback, concerns, and suggestions, and escalate insights to the HR Manager.
Support onboarding quality and probation follow-ups to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into teams.
Coordinate with department heads to identify training and development needs based on operational gaps and employee feedback.
Assist in organizing internal training, toolbox talks, and skill development sessions.
Track participation, feedback, and basic satisfaction indicators to support continuous improvement.
