About the role

The Junior Coach will support the implementation of the ROKSI with API project by engaging informal owners and ers, conducting outreach activities, supporting and facilitating coaching sessions, and providing basic development support.
Under the guidance of the Coach and Project Officer, the Junior Coach will assist participants in improving their knowledge, strengthening practices, and accessing relevant support services.
The successful candidate will receive coaching and development training from Mission Alliance and API.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Engagement and Assessment Identify and engage informal owners and ers participating in the ROKSI programme.
Build positive and trust-based relationships with clients.
Support the assessment of clients' needs, challenges, and opportunities to inform coaching support activities.
Coaching and Mentoring Assist in developing and implementing coaching plans to support participants' improvement goals.
Support and facilitate one-on-one, peer-to-peer, and group coaching on management, customer service, marketing, pricing, and growth.
Support clients in improving financial practices, including budgeting, record-keeping, cash flow management, and savings.
Guide clients in using digital tools and platforms to enhance operations and market access.
Monitor client progress and provide ongoi.
