About the role

Lead and oversee Cyber Security assurance activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and alignment with relevant industry standards and best practices.
Oversee security control reviews, gap analyses, and cyber security maturity assessments to evaluate control effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
Provide oversight of security hardening standards and approval of high-risk ITSM changes to ensure compliance with Bank’s policies/standards.
Coordinate and oversee internal and external cyber security audits to ensure effective planning, execution, and timely closure of audit findings.
Review and endorse cyber security awareness and training programs to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, organizational risk profile, and security objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Cyber Security Assurance team to build strong assurance capabilities and sustain a high-performing, risk-focused function.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, Governance and Audit, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-6 years of progressive experience in the related field.
At least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.
Professional certifications are highly preferred, such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO/IEC 27001 lead Auditor, or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience leading cyber security assurance, control assessments, gap analysis, and maturity assessments within a financial institution or regulated industry.
Hands-on experience coordinating internal audits, external audits, and regulatory examinations related to cyber security and technology risk involvement.
Strong understanding of Cyber Security frames and standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT, CIS Controls).
Solid knowledge of IT general controls (ITGCs), residual risk, and risk remediation plans.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations applicable to cyber security and technology risk.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor high-performing assurance teams.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple assurance activities and competing priorities.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Experience ing within a Three Lines of Defense model is an advantage.
