Operates, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains all mechanical, I/C and electrical equipment as required to support plant operation and maximize shareholder value and specific solar farm operation and maintenance.
An HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) supervisor a solar farm is responsible ensuring that activities comply with health, safety, environmental regulations. Key duties typically include:
- Developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures specific to solar farm operations.
- Conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses for installation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Overseeing incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Managing environmental compliance (e.g., soil erosion, water runoff, wildlife protection).
- Organizing safety training and drills for personnel.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for HSE performance.
- Monitoring workplace conditions and ensuring use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Liaising with regulatory bodies and maintaining required documentation.
- To ensure maximum plants performance.
- Maintain HSE standards and ensure the same is followed.
- Prepare and provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting per reporting standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager or designee.
