About the role

The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the NDCP in the operationalization of the Wolbachia project by establishing and maintaining collaborative efforts with the Provincial Dengue Committee made up of representatives from the PHD, Operational District (OD), local authorities, and selected principals in Battambang province; coordinating with PHD/OD/health center (HC) staff to conduct community engagement activities according to the community engagement strategy; monitoring the incident management system; facilitating community engagement surveys and Wolbachia deployment, including data collection for introgression analysis; and collaborating closely with CNM's finance team to produce programmatic and financial reports for submission to CHAI in accordance with the funding agreement.
The Project Coordinator will supervise a team of two staff on a daily basis at the Battambang PHD.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience in health systems.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities.
Excellent communication skills in English and Khmer, including the ability to create compelling, logical presentations using PowerPoint and other tools, and demonstrate a structured and assured oral and written communication style.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Prior experience working with the Cambodian government at the subnational level, particularly with provincial and district health authorities.
Knowledge of dengue and/or other major global infectious diseases.
Proven experience in establishing teams and/or scaling up field operations.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to develop and apply quantitative models using Excel and other tools to address specific challenges.
