• The Senior Pediatric Nurse is responsible for providing safe, compassionate and competent pediatric nursing care while overseeing the daily nursing operations of True Care Wellness Clinic.
• The role is hands-on and involves working closely with the treating pediatrician, conducting triage and patient monitoring, assisting with consultations and procedures, performing pediatric venepuncture and blood collection, carrying out POCT investigations, dispensing medications and educating parents.
• The Senior Nurse also leads, supervises and trains three junior nurses, ensuring competency, adherence to clinical protocols, infection prevention, patient safety and accurate documentation.
• In addition, the role includes managing inpatient room readiness, clinical supplies, medications and reagents, supporting emergency preparedness, coordinating with cleaners and other clinic staff, identifying operational issues and ensuring smooth clinic and inpatient services.
• Provide safe, compassionate and professional nursing care to pediatric patients.
• Assess patients and obtain relevant nursing information before medical consultation.
• Perform and document triage vital signs including temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure where clinically indicated, weight and other relevant measurements.
• Assist the pediatrician during patient assessment, procedures and treatment.
• Prepare patients for investigations and procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout their stay in the clinic.
• Monitor patients requiring observation or inpatient care and regularly assess vital signs and clinical condition.
• Recognize deterioration or inadequate clinical improvement and promptly inform the treating doctor.
• Escalate significant clinical concerns to the pediatrician without delay.
• Ensure appropriate follow-up and continuity of nursing care.
• Be highly competent and confident in venepuncture and blood collection in infants, children and difficult-to-access pediatric patients.
• Select appropriate collection tubes and equipment.
• Perform correct patient identification and specimen labelling.
• Obtain blood samples safely while minimising distress to the child.
• Manage difficult blood draws and know when to seek assistance or escalate.
• Perform capillary blood sampling.

The ideal candidate should be a registered nurse with strong pediatric experience, excellent pediatric venepuncture skills, good communication abilities, leadership capability, and the ability to communicate in both Khmer and English.
