About the role

Acquire and onboard medium loan clients, analyze and process their loan applications by conducting credit investigations, scoring, credit checking, and other underwriting activities to ensure good lending and loan quality.
Maintain existing and build new medium clients in accordance with guidelines to ensure secured loans.
Collect required documents for loan applications to verify eligibility.
Gather valid applicants’ financial records by obtaining and compiling copies of clients’ credit histories, medium financial statements, and other financial information.
Conduct credit investigation to analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, property evaluations, and repayment capacity to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Conduct a site visit during loan assessment to obtain in-depth information concerning the purpose of the loan application and ensure sufficient and acceptable customer security.
Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Report including detailed loan appraisal writeup and detailed financial analysis to submit for loan approval.
Explain different loan types and credit options, as well as service terms, for further cross-selling.
Make regular site visits to existing customers to determine loan status and develop relationships for further cross-selling.
Closely monitor recommended/processed loans for timely repayment and to ensure Portfolio At Risk remains within acceptable levels.
Work closely with Head Office to follow up on post disbursement conditions and financial covenants, ensuring full compliance.
Follow up delinquent clients immediately and refer such cases to the supervisor to proactively handle the branch loan portfolio.
Discuss credit-related issues and loan packaging to provide sound financial advice and tailored solutions, and to cross-sell other banking products.
Handle clients’ issues or complaints to find amicable solutions and process to higher authority if needed.
Stay abreast of new loan types and other financial services and products to better meet customer needs.

Requirements

Fresh graduate or bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
None to less than one year of experience in banking and financial services industry.
Basic knowledge of the bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
Demonstration of presentation and sales skills.
Good customer service, client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Good Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
Good problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skill.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
