About the role

To lead and scale PayWay, an all-in-one payment solution serving merchants across online, in-store, and social commerce, by owning strategy, product development, commercial growth, integrations, and operational excellence while driving cross-functional collaboration across product development, merchant acquisition and partnerships, and integration and delivery teams.
Set the direction and operating plan; drive performance through clear KPIs and disciplined execution.
Lead product vision, roadmap, and delivery across modules such as Online Checkout, Static QR, POS, Invoicing, Payment Links, Subscriptions/Recurring Payments, Pay-out, Split Bill, e-Commerce enablement, and Agentic Commerce.
Identify and apply relevant AI-agent based flows to improve merchant and customer experiences, operational efficiency, and product differentiation.
Track global trends and translate them into practical features and experimentation.
Drive merchant acquisition and retention across segments (enterprise, SME, micro retailers); build and manage strategic partnerships with platforms and technology providers.
Improve merchant onboarding and integration journeys (APIs/plugins), ensure service reliability, and strengthen operational processes and SLAs.
Work closely with internal product and technology teams and partner with Marketing on go-to-market execution and merchant activation.
Advise team members and ensure technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Provide leadership and guidance to the department in fulfilling their responsibilities through coaching and mentoring.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s is a plus.
Minimum eight years of experience in payments, fintech, acquiring/payment gateways, digital commerce, or related fields.
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams across product, technology delivery, and commercial growth.
Strong track record of scaling a product/platform with measurable outcomes (growth, adoption, revenue).
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Experience working with regulated environments (security, data protection, risk/compliance).
