About the role

Build and finalize an approved target list of 15+ executive interview candidates across the local beverage ecosystem.
Coordinate and confirm structured in-person or virtual interviews with key decision-makers.
Conduct 12-15 structured qualitative interviews (30–45 minutes each) in English following provided interview guides.
Secure signed, voice-recorded informed consent from 100% of participants prior to interview execution and compliance with federal research ethics.
Draft concise, publication-ready 1-to-2 page Key Stakeholder Interview Summaries in English for each completed interview utilizing standardized templates.
Submit accurate daily timesheets and field travel receipts for audit compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree.
Demonstrated success in qualitative research, market access consulting, international trade policy, or senior F&B/hospitality sector analysis.
USAID/US Agency experience is a plus (for 5+ years experience).
Proven ability to access and engage high-level decision-makers (importers, hotel F&B directors, customs officials, trade group leaders).
Professional fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Fluency in Khmer is highly preferred.
Access to reliable audio recording equipment/smartphone, mobile connectivity, and proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel.
Uncompromising commitment to data integrity, research ethics, confidentiality, and federal grant compliance standards.
