About the role

To assess the environmental and social risk profile of loan applications/requests to minimize the negative effects of such risks that may occur in loan applications and complaints with Lending Guidelines and internal E&S standards.
Receive and assess Environmental and Social risks on loan applications with a loan limit as per Lending Guidelines.
Identify the relevant E&S risks and assess the risk profile to optimize growth.
Monitor the environmental and social risks of the counterparty and engage in reporting preparation for management.
Monitor and implement the WMSMEs loan portfolio (Woman-Owned or Woman-Owned Enterprise) by screening and reporting procedures in coordination with the Credit Development Department.
Provide guidance to newly joined members to ensure they are all aware of the process and guidelines during their first employment.
Perform consistently and enthusiastically by keeping professional communication with peers, colleagues, and senior managers.
Conduct research on environmental and social issues and thematic topics that may affect ABA’s lending upon request from management.
Prepare related reports for internal management.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking, Accounting, Management, and/or related fields.
Minimum two years of ing experience in banking, credit, risk assessment and management, and/or related fields.
Strong understanding of environmental and risk assessment, reporting, and screening.
Strong knowledge of the bank lending guidelines, social risk management, rules and regulations, and credit risk management.
Demonstrated critical thinking, time management, initiative, and sharing.
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and interal skills.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
