Conduct regular 1-on-1s, ride-alongs, or call reviews to provide feedback and improve sales techniques.
Assign realistic quotas to individual team members, monitor daily/weekly progress, and implement counter-strategies if targets are falling short.
Manage shift s, floor coverage, territory allocations, or lead distribution.
Oversee inventory management or CRM pipeline accuracy.
Handle complex customer complaints or escalated disputes, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Track team metrics (conversion rates, average order value, pipeline velocity) and present weekly/monthly activity reports to higher management.
Ensure the team strictly adheres to company policies, ethical selling practices, price structures, and legal compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of progressive sales experience within the FMCG industry, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels (General Trade) and retail operations.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse, results-oriented sales team.
Excellent communication, interal, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM or sales tracking/reporting systems.
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
