About the role
- Drive and oversee day-to-day performance of the branch including supervising and driving sales and building long-lasting customer relationships.
- Maintain team spirit through motivation, counseling, training, coaching, and mentoring, in addition to driving deposit related KPIs.
- Sales Performance: Effectively communicate branch and individual sales targets and KPIs to the sales team.
- Design and implement a strategic plan to grow the number of customers and balance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports to provide necessary support as needed.
- Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Improve sales team performance through motivation, counseling, training, and coaching.
- Build and promote strong and long-lasting customer relationships by supporting and understanding their needs.
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve growth and hit sales targets.
- Service Quality: Ensure all sales staff meet/exceed customer expectations through superior customer service.
- Ensure the accuracy of the services and information provided to customers.
- Monitor and manage staff leave to ensure the branch has adequate employees to service clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all policies and procedures are followed by sales teams.
- Ensure proper check and verification of all customers before onboarding.
- Keep up-to-date with all new Memorandums and implement them to staff, ensuring they are aware and comply.
- Quality Control: Control daily account opening files and ensure the completeness and accuracy of all account files.
- Daily control on pending files, pending approvals, and pending specimen uploads, taking immediate actions to fix them.
- Work closely with Quality Control and Retail Banking teams to update customer profiles and other required information and data as needed.
- Ensure all account files and other documents are properly filed and stored within guidelines and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Finance and Banking, or Accounting or any relevant field.
- Minimum three years of experience in the banking and financial services industry.
- Excellent knowledge in sales, marketing, and customer service principles.
- Excellent knowledge of Bank branch operations, cash operations, banking rules and regulations, laws, and all policies and procedures pertaining to them, including but not limited to the AML and CFT law.
- Excellent experience with client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent sales, target-oriented, and customer service skills.
- Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
- Good leadership skills, team management and portfolio of retail customers, and time management.
- Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
- Proficient Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
- Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
