About the role
- Maintain the stable connectivity of the bank's network including network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Accountable for keeping the bank’s network secure by complying with network security policies.
- Execute assigned projects ranging from the design, review, implementation, maintenance, migration plan, and documentation of the Bank’s network infrastructures, including Data Centers, Branches, ABA 24/7, and ATM/Cash-In connectivity.
- Establish the high availability, integrity, and security of the corporate network infrastructure connections and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Provide networking subject matter expertise to peers, immediate management, and other internal teams for requirements development, program management, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
- Identify network requirements of hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirements of the bank.
- Develop monitoring, maintenance, expansion, and recovery plans.
- Work closely with all project stakeholders to coordinate project milestones.
- Keep senior management abreast and updated of the status and hold them accountable for facilitating mitigation of risks and solution of escalated issues.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Contribute expert-level support and superior service for cloud infrastructure issues, troubleshooting and resolution to satisfy stakeholders by complying with internal rules and service level agreements.
- Build a strong collaborative relationship with ABA Bank’s specialists such as application teams, network engineers, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions within the broader IT ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field of study.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in executing complex IT-centric projects with enterprise infrastructure components.
- Experience in executing IT projects and programs with a very strong routing and switching background along with a strong security practice.
- Highly proficient in network design and implementation.
- Competency in BGP, WAN/LAN networking technologies; routed network infrastructures and protocols; legacy system protocols; and LAN network and DNS architectures.
- Competency in security methodologies; firewalls, access control lists, encryption and public key infrastructure.
- Understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure, application development & maintenance, software testing, and IT architecture.
- Understanding of infrastructure mainframe and distributed technologies as they relate to providing technical solutions to applications and requirements.
- Highly skilled and project-oriented individual with the capability of managing multiple complex assignments.
- Strong communication, people, and project-management capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to use and communicate effectively in both Khmer and English.
- Strong technical depth and breadth.
- Ability to provide Off-Hours support including 24/7 on-call duty.
