About the role

  • Provide support for youth focal point education activities and mobilize youth to form discussion groups in the community.
  • Collect information and reports on education, regular youth focal point discussions.
  • Collaborate with project staff in organizing quarterly meetings (with youth focal points), campaigns, events, various days, and advocacy.
  • Lead youth focal points to participate in monthly meetings with the Committee responsible for Women and Children's Affairs to follow up on submitted petitions and raise issues around sexual and reproductive health in the community.
  • Support the "Rak Youth Network" health initiatives.
  • Work with provincial coordinators on collaboration with school principals and students to introduce and utilize youth centers.
  • Prepare monthly budgets and expense reports.
  • Educate on sexual and reproductive health and organize events at universities and institutes.
  • Work with project officers, staff, stakeholders, teachers in planning youth education in four schools about sexual and reproductive health and rights, especially menstrual hygiene management for girls.
  • Prepare educational materials and conduct educational meetings for students in schools.
  • Assist teachers for the educational process in schools and collect reports.
  • Collaborate with project officers, staff, stakeholders, and lead youth focal points in organizing meetings, workshops, youth-led initiatives, various days, and campaigns.
  • Assist in mobilizing youth and community members to actively participate in events related to sexual and reproductive health and rights.
  • Attend meetings with local authorities and relevant parties.
  • Maintain good relationships with project staff, stakeholders, and NGO partners at the provincial level to promote RHAC's programs.
  • Participate in the production of educational materials, create educational messages for advocacy in various events.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Languages: Khmer

  • Good level, English
  • Good level. Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Social Sciences or related field. Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in project management and community work. Skills and Knowledge: General and Technical Skills: Experience working with youth, teachers, authorities, the Ministry of Education, and relevant stakeholders. Knowledge and experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights training. Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and rights. Familiar with the geography of Kampot province. Able to speak, read, listen, and write Khmer and English. Proficient in using computers: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email. Soft Skills: Respect for sexual and reproductive health and rights.
