About the role

Acquire and onboard medium loan clients, analyze and process their loan applications by conducting credit investigations, scoring, credit checking, and other underwriting activities to ensure good lending and loan quality.
Maintain existing and build new medium clients in accordance with guidelines.
Collect required documents for loan applications to verify eligibility.
Gather valid applicants’ financial records by obtaining and compiling copies of clients’ credit histories, medium financial statements, and other financial information.
Conduct credit investigation to analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, property evaluations, and repayment capacity to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Conduct site visits during loan assessment to obtain in-depth information concerning the purpose of customer’s loan application and ensure sufficient and acceptable customer security.
Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Report including detailed loan appraisal write-up and detailed financial analysis to submit for loan approval.
Explain different loan types and credit options to clients, as well as terms of services for further cross-selling.
Make regular site visits to existing customers to determine loan status and develop customer relationships for cross-selling.
Closely monitor recommended/processed loans for timely repayment and ensure Portfolio At Risk remains within acceptable levels.
Work closely with Head Office to follow up on post-disbursement conditions and financial covenants to ensure full compliance.
Follow up delinquent clients immediately and refer cases to the supervisor to proactively handle the branch loan portfolio.
Discuss credit-related issues and loan packaging to provide sound financial advice and tailored solutions, and take opportunities to cross-sell other banking products.
Handle clients’ issues or complaints to find amicable solutions and process to higher authority if needed.
Stay abreast of new loan types and other financial services and products to better meet customer needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
Minimum one year of experience in banking and financial services industry.
Good knowledge of bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
Demonstration of presentation and sales skills.
Good customer service, client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Good Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
Good problem-solving, negotiation and interpersonal skill.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
