About the role

Acquire and onboard medium loan clients, analyze and process their loan applications through credit investigations, scoring, credit checking, and other underwriting activities to ensure good lending and loan quality.
Maintain existing and build new medium clients in accordance with medium loan policies and procedures to ensure secured loans.
Collect all required client documents for loan application to verify eligibility.
Gather valid applicants’ financial records, including credit histories, financial statements, and other financial information.
Conduct credit investigation to analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, property evaluations, and repayment capacity to determine loan feasibility.
Conduct site visits during loan assessment to obtain in-depth information regarding the loan application purpose and ensure sufficient and acceptable customer security.
Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Report with detailed loan appraisal write-up and financial analysis for loan approval submission.
Explain different loan types and credit options, including service terms, to clients for cross-selling.
Make regular site visits to existing customers to assess loan collateral and financial situation, developing relationships for further cross-selling.
Monitor recommended/processed loans for timely repayment and ensure Portfolio At Risk remains within acceptable levels.
Work closely with Head Office to follow up on post-disbursement conditions and financial covenants for full compliance.
Follow up delinquent clients immediately and refer cases to the supervisor to proactively handle the branch loan portfolio.
Discuss credit-related issues and loan packaging to provide sound financial advice and tailored solutions, and seize opportunities for cross-selling other banking products.
Handle client issues or complaints to find amicable solutions, escalating to higher authority if necessary.
Stay abreast of new loan types and financial services and products to better meet customer needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
Minimum one year of experience in banking and financial services industry.
Good knowledge of bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
Demonstration of presentation and sales skills.
Good customer service, client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Good Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
Good problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skill.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
