About the role

Acquire and onboard medium loan clients, analyze and process loan applications by conducting credit investigations, scoring, credit checking, and other underwriting activities.
Maintain existing and build new medium clients in accordance with loan policies and procedures.
Collect all required client documents for loan application to verify eligibility.
Gather valid applicants’ financial records by obtaining and compiling copies of clients’ credit histories, medium financial statements, and other financial information.
Conduct credit investigation to analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, property evaluations, and repayment capacity to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Conduct a site visit during loan assessment process to obtain in-depth information concerning the purpose of the customer’s loan application and ensure sufficient and acceptable customer security.
Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Report including detailed loan appraisal write-up and detailed financial analysis of the clients for loan approval.
Explain to clients the different types of loans and credit options available, as well as the terms of those services for further cross-selling.
Make regular site visits to existing customers to determine whether the loan should stay the same or be upgraded/downgraded due to the actual condition of their loan collateral and/or financial situation, as well as to develop relationships for further cross-selling.
Closely monitor recommended/processed loans for timely repayment and to ensure Portfolio At Risk remains within acceptable levels.
Work closely with Head Office to follow up on all post disbursement conditions and financial covenants and ensure full compliance.
Follow up delinquent clients immediately and refer such cases to the supervisor to proactively handle the branch loan portfolio.
Discuss credit-related issues and loan packaging to provide sound financial advice and tailored solutions for clients, and take the opportunity to cross-sell other banking products.
Handle clients’ issues or complaints to find an amicable solution and process to higher authority if needed.
Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customer needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
Minimum one year of ing experiences in banking and financial services industry.
Good knowledge of the bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
Demonstration of presentation and sales skills.
Good customer service, client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem solving and interal skills.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Good Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
Good problem solving, negotiation and interal skill.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
