About the role

Review and verify purchase requisitions, expenses based on the approved income-generating program budget (excluding staff expenses).
Assist the Senior Finance Officer in reviewing the classification of donor contributions on budget payment documents.
Conduct daily reviews of cash-on-hand, outstanding purchase requisitions of the income-generating program, ensuring balances.
Prepare revenue documents and confirm received funds for management or partner organizations.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports (under the supervision of the Senior Finance Officer).
Review the annual budget plan for each program to ensure accuracy of calculations.
Update donor contribution budget classifications and Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks.
Review the recording and receipt of funds from family reimbursements and from the Baby Care Program.
Assist with annual audits, both global and project audits.
Manage and review the petty cash for each program.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Department Head or management.

Requirements

Completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Possess at least 2-3 years of work experience related to accounting and finance.
High proficiency in using MS-Office, email, internet, and accounting software (QuickBooks).
Honest, trustworthy, and highly responsible.
Good written and spoken English skills and good teamwork ability.
Ability to manage work priorities and work under pressure.
Commitment to work diligently and develop skills to achieve high-quality results.
