Following its mission of “Cambodians helping Cambodians” the organization, focuses on fighting the causes of poverty and helping people to help themselves.Roles and Responsibilities:<ul class="job-detail-req"><li class="indent-0">Curriculum & Departmental Support</li><li class="indent-1">Directly assist the English Curriculum Coordinator with administrative tasks, scheduling, and general department organisation.</li><li class="indent-1">Support English teachers across the school in maintaining an effective, organised, and positive learning environment.</li><li class="indent-1">Help prepare, organise, and manage teaching materials, resources, and student records.</li><li class="indent-1">Provide short-term classroom cover for teachers when strictly necessary.</li><li class="indent-0">Student Intervention & Small-Group Instruction</li><li class="indent-1">Lead small-group tutoring sessions and deliver targeted remedial English classes for students needing extra academic support.</li><li class="indent-1">Guide individual students or small groups competently with minimal direct supervision.</li><li class="indent-1">Use encouraging, interactive questioning and prompting techniques to guide student learning without simply giving away answers.</li><li class="indent-1">Adapt explanations and communication styles to match the students' specific language proficiency levels.</li><li class="indent-0">Provided Professional Training</li><li class="indent-1">To help you excel and grow in your career, this role includes structured training and mentorship in:</li><li class="indent-2">School Administration Tasks: Gain experience in various administrative functions within an educational setting.</li><li class="indent-2">Cambridge Exam Preparation: Learn about the structure and requirements of Cambridge English examinations and how to support students.</li><li class="indent-2">Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL): Enhance teaching skills and learn best practices for working with English language learners.</li></ul>Key Requirements (skills, knowledge experience & qualification): <div class="key-list" style="flex-grow: 1; margin-top: 5px;"><ul class="job-detail-req"><li>Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, TEFL, TESOL, or an equivalent field.</li><li>At least of relevant working experience for 1 year</li><li>Khmer: Native speaker.</li><li>English: Minimum B2 level proficiency (Upper-Intermediate) or higher, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.</li></ul></div><div class="js-area-heading" style="text-align: justify;"><div class="js-area-heading">Please send CV and cover letter to Email:      recruitment@smilinggecko-cambodia.org Phone:    016740883 Website:  http://www.smilinggecko.ch/en Please mention "www.Cambodiajobs.Biz" where you saw the ad when you apply!  </div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer">Moreinfo: http://cambodiajobs.blogspot.com</div>.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Education, English, TEFL, TESOL, an equivalent field.
At least relevant working experience for 1 year Khmer: Native speaker.
English: Minimum B2 level proficiency (Upper-Intermediate) higher, with strong reading, writing, speaking skills.
