• The postholder will act as a trusted advisor and coach, providing personalised support through structured mentoring, employability development, and student engagement initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Academic Mentorship & Student Progression Deliver structured termly 1:1 coaching sessions with assigned students Monitor academic performance, attendance, and engagement Support students in setting clear goals and action plans for success Identify at-risk students and contribute to early intervention strategies Work closely with academic teams to support student progression and outcomes Maintain accurate and confidential records of student engagement Careers Guidance & Employability Development Provide personalised guidance on career pathways and progression opportunities

Support students with:

CV and cover letter development LinkedIn profile development Applications and personal statements Interview preparation Assist students in securing internships and work experience opportunities Collaborate with industry partners to enhance employability opportunities Deliver workshops and group sessions on career readiness and professional skills Global Progression & Overseas Opportunities Advise students on international progression pathways, including transfers to global campuses and partner universities Support students with applications, documentation, and readiness for overseas study Work closely with Admissions and academic teams to facilitate progression Student Development Provide a supportive, confidential, and student-centred environment for pastoral guidance Support students with common challenges such as stress, a
