About the role

Manage the daily accounting operations of the company.
Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
Maintain Fixed Asset registers, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
Manage inventory accounting and inventory control.
Match supporting documentation with the correct accounting codes and accurately record transactions in the accounting system.
Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting reports.
Prepare financial reports requested by management.
Assist with budgeting and cash flow monitoring.
Prepare and submit Cambodian tax declarations in accordance with statutory deadlines.
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, suppliers, customers, and government authorities when required.
Maintain proper filing systems and accounting documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and Cambodian accounting and tax regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Support the Finance Manager with reporting and special projects.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Finance Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Experience within an international company would be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent knowledge of the Cambodian accounting standards, tax system, and statutory compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience preparing and submitting Cambodian tax declarations, including: Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Tax on Salary (TOS), Prepayment of Tax on Income (PTOI), Annual Tax on Income (TOI), Other statutory filings required by the General Department of Taxation (GDT).
Experience managing: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Bank Reconciliations.
Experience dealing with auditors, tax advisors, and banks is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Applicants should demonstrate strong computer skills, including: Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, QuickBooks, Xero.
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.
Fluent professional English (spoken and written) is essential.
Fluent Khmer (spoken and written).
