Plan, develop and deliver courses based on the ASEAN curriculum for tourism professionals.
Assist with alignment of assessment, learning objectives and instructional strategies.
Prepare instructional material including audio-visual presentations.
Initiate and design additional materials to supplement other programs.
Prepare and set exams; provide constructive feedback on oral and written.
Collaborate with a team of specialty teachers and regularly review student achievement.
Nurture a student-centered learning environment.
Establish and maintain a classroom environment that promotes a high level of respect for others, al accountability, and academic achievement.
Produce semester reports on student achievement and progress.
Attend meetings and participate in events (open house days, career fair, admission sessions etc.).
Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor degree and TEFL certificate (preference given to CELTA or Trinity TESOL).
Minimum 3 years full time experience in adult ESL teaching.
Ability to in a cross-cultural environment; positive attitude and ethic; well groomed.
Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills.
Computer literacy and use of modern technology is a must.
Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is an advantage.
Adhere to the ethical teaching practices as set by the policy.
