About the role

As an English Teacher at CCF, you will be responsible for teaching English using 21st century pedagogy.
Specifically, our curriculum is CLIL-based, so the teacher is expected to teach content and critical thinking skills along with vocabulary and grammar.
Each unit consists of an Essential Question, which is answered through many sources, resulting in an original answer to the question.
Students will be assessed through a team performance task that showcases their knowledge and understanding of the topic.
The teacher will be able to follow an outlined program, but will also be responsible for adapting the lesson plans to their specific class.
Encourage students to form their own opinions after being exposed to many viewpoints.
Be comfortable using online learning platforms such as Google Classroom as well as online organization tools like Google Calendar.
Maintain a positive, friendly attitude and adapt teaching to the ability and progress of students.
Take part in regular training in 21st century pedagogical approaches and CLIL teaching, as well as a continual English-development program for teachers.
Model the organization’s values and associated behaviors in and out of the classroom, and give instructions in clear, calm, simplified English.
