About the role

The Head of Accounting, Tax and Tax Audit Services is responsible for leading and managing the Accounting, Tax, and Tax Audit Service Departments to ensure high-quality client service delivery, compliance with applicable regulations, operational efficiency, and growth.
The role oversees client engagements, team development, quality control, and strategic planning while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
Duties & Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Lead the Accounting, Tax, and Tax Audit Departments in achieving the company's goals through effective planning, resource management, and service delivery.
Grow the Accounting, Tax, and Tax Audit by acquiring new clients, expanding client services, and improving operational efficiency and profitability.
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance service quality, improve operational efficiency, and develop new opportunities.
Stay updated on accounting, tax, audit, and regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company and clients.
Accounting Services Management: Oversee bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation engagements.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Review and approve financial reports before submission to clients.
Supervise the preparation and submission of ACAR financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and quality standards (if required).
Tax Services Management: Review and approve monthly and annual tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance with applicable tax regulations, and timely filing with the GDT.
Provide technical guidance on tax regulations.
Tax Audit Services Management: Oversee and manage tax audit engagements for client conducted by tax authorities.
Develop tax audit strategies and coordinate responses to audit inquiries, assessments, and information requests from tax authorities, ensuring compliance and protecting clients' interests.
Review supporting documentation and tax positions to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks.
Represent and assist clients during tax audits, investigations, and negotiations with tax authorities.
