About the role

Acquire and onboard medium loan clients, analyze and process their loan applications by conducting credit investigations, scoring, credit checking, and other underwriting activities to ensure good lending and loan quality.
Maintain existing and build new medium clients in accordance with guidelines to ensure secured loans.
Collect required client documents for loan application to verify eligibility.
Gather valid applicant financial records by obtaining and compiling credit histories, financial statements, and other financial information.
Conduct credit investigation to analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, property evaluations, and repayment capacity to determine loan feasibility.
Conduct site visits during loan assessment to obtain in-depth information on loan purpose and ensure sufficient security.
Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Report including detailed loan appraisal writeup and financial analysis for loan approval.
Explain different loan types and credit options, including service terms, for cross-selling.
Make regular site visits to existing customers to assess loan collateral and financial situation, and develop customer relationships for cross-selling.
Closely monitor recommended/processed loans for timely repayment and to ensure Portfolio At Risk remains within acceptable levels.
Work closely with Head Office to follow up on post-disbursement conditions and financial covenants for full compliance.
Follow up delinquent clients immediately and refer cases to the supervisor to proactively handle the branch loan portfolio.
Discuss credit-related issues and loan packaging to provide financial advice and tailored solutions, and cross-sell other banking products.
Handle client issues or complaints to find amicable solutions and escalate if needed.
Stay abreast of new loan types and financial services and products to better meet customer needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
Minimum one year of banking and financial services industry experience.
Good knowledge of bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
Demonstration of presentation and sales skills.
Good customer service, client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem solving and internal skills.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Good Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
Good problem solving, negotiation and internal skill.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
