About the role
- Conducts thorough investigations into allegations of fraud, misconduct, policy violations, or other irregularities within the telecom company.
- Gathers and analyzes evidence through interviews, document reviews, data analysis, and other investigative techniques.
- Prepares comprehensive investigation reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborates with legal counsel, HR, and other departments as necessary during investigations.
- Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards during investigations.
- Assesses risks associated with identified issues and recommends controls to mitigate future occurrences.
- Stays updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to investigative techniques and fraud prevention.
- Assists the internal audit team in planning and executing audit engagements when not actively involved in investigations.
- Conducts audit fieldwork, performs testing, and evaluates internal controls to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Participates in audit reporting and follow-up activities to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Maintains accurate and organized documentation related to investigations and audit activities.
- Prepares clear and concise reports and presentations for senior management and audit committees.
- Tracks investigation outcomes and audit findings to measure impact and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Provides guidance and training to junior investigators and audit staff on investigative techniques, fraud detection, and internal control concepts.
- Fosters a culture of integrity and compliance within the organization through educational sessions and awareness programs.
