About the role

Provide individual supportive counseling sessions under supervision.
Assist in psychosocial and risk assessments.
Facilitate group activities (life skills, emotional regulation, resilience-building).
Support crisis intervention when needed.
Support development and follow-up of Individual Care Plans (ICP).
Maintain accurate and confidential case notes.
Track counseling progress indicators and report to supervisor.
Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings.
Support daily emotional well-being activities in the shelter.
Conduct follow-up visits for reintegrated survivors when assigned.
Coordinate with families and community stakeholders.
Collaborate with social workers, legal teams, and external stakeholders.
Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports.
Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
NGO or social service sector (experience with vulnerable children preferred) for 1 to 2 years.
Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and child protection principles.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Strong empathy, patience, and emotional stability.
Survivor-centered mindset.
