• Alert, follow up, and recover defaulted loans by conducting site visits, coordinating with local authorities, manually settling overdue amounts, blocking accounts of overdue clients, and solving problems with overdue and defaulted clients.
• Monitor overdue and defaulted loans daily to timely provide an update or recommendation to upper management.
• Prepare and submit daily reports of overdue and repayment for all credit facilities to keep all related stakeholders informed of the status.
• Input two-week reminders of repayment reports into the shared drive for branches to take action according to the Bank’s policy.
• Input and update status on analyzed cases into Case Under Analysis of Recovery to ensure cases are solved properly.
• Follow up and verify with branch loan officers to get updates on reasons for repayment lateness and next action plans to handle cases.
• Review and update overdue clients that exceed the timeline set in the Bank’s policies to handle cases in a timely manner.
• Track and prepare lists of restructured or red clients by working closely with branch loan officers to better administer repayment.
• Respond to all inquiries, issues, or errors related to repayment to all branch personnel when required.
• Arrange appropriate times to chase and follow up with clients to ensure agreed terms and conditions are met.
• Process manual settlements to clients when appropriate.
• Conduct site visits to overdue and/or defaulted clients when assigned by upper management of the loan recovery team.

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field; Minimum one year of working experience in credit function of the financial industry; Basic understanding of bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management; Good problem-solving, negotiation, interpersonal, and convincing skills; Patience and understanding of emotions to deal with clients; Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English; Microsoft Office and Bank’s software; Excellent organizing, recording, and filing skills; Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
