The Project Officer will support the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Early Warning for All (EW4ALL), climate resilience, and disaster preparedness initiatives implemented by the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM).
The position will closely with government institutions, development partners, UN agencies, NGOs, academia, and the private sector to ensure effective implementation of project activities and achievement of project objectives.
Support the preparation and implementation of annual plans, activity s, budgets, and procurement plans.
Coordinate project implementation with NCDM departments, PCDMs, DCDMs, CCDMs, and development partners.
Organize coordination meetings, technical ing , shops, and stakeholder consultations.
Ensure project implementation complies with approved plans, donor requirements, and NCDM policies.
Support the integration of DRR and climate resilience into national and sub-national development planning.
Support implementation of project activities related to: Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Disaster Risk Management (DRM).
Early Warning for All (EW4ALL) and Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM).
