Individual Consultant for Sub-national Technical Coordinator – Eye Health

• Provide regular field-based technical assistance and coordination support to Provincial Health Departments (PHDs), Operational Districts (ODs), Health Centres, Vision Centres, Provincial of Education (PoE), District of Education (DoE) and s, Village Health Support (VHSGs), and other local stakeholders, in order to strengthen implementation of eye health screening, referral, treatment, and follow-up pathways and reinforce coordination between the health and education sectors.
• Report routine collection, verification, and reporting of program data from participating facilities, s, community-level activities, and other implementation sites.
• Review program data regularly to identify gaps in screening coverage, referrals, service utilization, follow-up, and other key indicators.
• Provide regular implementation updates to the CHAI program team, highlighting progress, challenges, risks, corrective actions, and support required.
• Maintain effective ing relationships with relevant provincial and sub-national government counterparts, health facilities, education authorities, s, VHSGs, communities, and other local stakeholders.
• Support provincial and OD review meetings, coordination meetings, supervision visits, and other project activities.
• Document implementation challenges, lessons learned, good practices, and examples of successful local solutions.
• Facilitate communication between sub-national stakeholders and the CHAI program team to ensure field experience informs ongoing program improvement.
