QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or other related courses

WORK HISTORY:

Experience in a sub-editing or proofreading role for 2 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills Exceptional standard of grammar, punctuation, and spelling An understanding of the regulations relating to publishing and journalism Meticulous attention to detail with strong fact-checking abilities Sound understanding of media guidelines, copyright, and publishing regulations Soft Skills Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across editorial teams Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
