About the role

The Medical Doctor in the Medical Biology Laboratory plays a key role in providing medical consultation to patients, supporting appropriate test selection, and ensuring the accurate interpretation of laboratory results.
The physician provides clinical advice based on laboratory findings but does not provide medical treatment.
Working closely with laboratory professionals, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered laboratory services while ensuring compliance with professional ethics, confidentiality requirements, and quality standards.
The position also involves active participation in continuous quality improvement activities, laboratory accreditation processes, and the development and implementation of new diagnostic services.
Provide medical consultation to patients regarding laboratory investigations, including guidance on appropriate test selection and preparation.
Review and interpret laboratory test results and provide clinical advi.
