The role of the SACHAS
- សច្ចៈ Program Manager is a member of management team and is responsible for supporting NGOF’s members, partners and the communities (incl. ACs, CPA, CFi, and CF) to operationalize key laws and policies (incl. Natural Resources and Environmental Code, and other laws related; Pentagonal Strategies (Phase I); Cambodian Sustainable Development Goals (CSDGs); National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP) and National Program Phase 2 for Sub-national Democratic Development; Public Financial Management including national budgeting; green finance; tax justice; and digital economy; Climate Change Strategic Plan 2024- 2028, including loss and damage policies; Agriculture policies, and other related sectoral policies and strategic plans, and other related policies; Sustainable and green growth policies; and ESG and Business and Human Rights) into practices, and to support their local-led initiatives to transform their communities toward harmonious, prosperous, resilient and sustainable one. One of the feasible ideas is to transform Cis/ACs/CFs/CPAs into the community of Agri-tourism, education, environment, and culture so that the target communities are able to build trust, solidarity, income, and conserve their environment and culture in a more harmonized, prosperous and sustainable manner. A program manager of SACHAS will lead a team to support the members and partners to build synergies and collective efforts/actions in responding key issues (including emerging) and priorities of their organizations and communities.
Program Leadership and Strategic Management
Lead the overall planning, implementation, and management of the SACHAS Program.
Ensure that the program aligns with NGOF’s strategic priorities, mission, and values.
Translate program objectives into annual workplans, implementation strategies, and measurable results.
Provide strategic guidance to ensure program relevance in addressing key and emerging issues affecting communities and partner organizations.
Promote synergies across projects, partners, and thematic areas under the SACHAS Program.
