An Academic Secretary helps to keep the school running smoothly, taking care of the administrative and organizational tasks that make the school function.
The role includes providing administrative support for the academic office such as teaching and learning management, including certificates, exam paperwork and results letters.
It also involves assisting with the supervision of exams, collecting student attendance regularly and monitoring student attendance records.
The Academic Secretary will prepare teaching material, control and maintain teaching equipment such as LCDs, office computers, laptops, TVs and speakers.
They will also help with general office/school duties when the need arises and handle student and parent enquiries about absences.
Further responsibilities include compiling and coordinating academic staff portfolios, receiving and making official school phone calls, and coordinating and preparing documents and materials for parent-teacher association meetings.
Maintaining the order and cleanliness of the office and facilities, taking meeting minutes and history reports of the office of secretary, and assisting student opinion surveys with administration staff are also part of the role.
The Academic Secretary will coordinate fixed asset movement, check and update office and classroom bulletin boards, and count the stock of supplies, doing a report every month.
Other tasks are assigned by the Head of Aii Academic Secretary.
Requirements
Bachelor degree is desirable, Business Administration Degree or relevant disciplinary 2 to 4-year experience in Com & Ben.
Proven record in retention development.
Proven record in Salary Survey, job grading creation and salary structure.
Strong analytical skills.
Advanced understanding of all elements of compensation, including long-term incentives.
Strong research and interpretation skills.
Strong knowledge of Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Problem solving, Time Management, Communication and negotiations, presentation skill, network.
Strong knowledge of Cambodia Labor Law Compliance and Payroll process.
