About the role

To supervise and manage all engineering and maintenance activities across the plant, ensuring reliable operation of mortar and liquid production lines, filling systems, laboratories, and facility infrastructure.
This role ensures minimal downtime, safe operations, and continuous improvement of equipment performance.
Responsibilities and Duties: 1.
Maintenance & Equipment Reliability: Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for mortar mixing & batching systems, liquid production and dosing systems, and automatic filling machines.
Ensure minimum production downtime and fast troubleshooting.
Monitor equipment performance and improve reliability.
Engineering Support: Provide day-to-day technical support to production and QC teams.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC issues.
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Maintain technical documentation (SOPs, machine manuals, drawings).
Facility & Utility Management: Oversee maintenance of factory building and infrastructure, office building, and utilities (air compressor, water, electrical systems, etc.).
Ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
Team Supervision: Supervise maintenance technicians and external contractors.
Assign daily tasks and control quality.
Provide hands-on coaching and training.
Ensure discipline, safety, and performance standards.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance follows Health, Safety and Environmental Standards.
Enforce safe practices (LOTO, PPE, etc.).
Support audits and corrective actions.
Maintain a zero-accident mindset.
Spare Parts & Cost Control: Manage spare parts inventory.
Ensure critical spare parts availability for production lines.
Control maintenance costs within budget.
Coordinate purchasing of parts and services.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, improve equipment efficiency, and extend machine lifespan.
Support 5S, Lean, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.
Reporting: Maintain maintenance logs and equipment history.
Provide monthly maintenance reports including downtime, root causes, actions taken, and track key KPIs.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance.
Experience in: Mixing systems (powder/liquid), production or filling equipment, filling machines (semi-auto/auto).
Basic PLC knowledge is an advantage.
Leadership Skills: Team supervision, Task planning and prioritization, Good communication with production and management.
Personal Attributes: Hands-on and practical, Problem-solving mindset, Able to work under pressure, Responsible and proactive.
