About the role

Teachers at AUPP are expected to collaborate to provide a positive educational experience for its students.
Full-time teachers are required to provide 20 hours of classroom instruction per week.
Teachers are expected to hold “office hours” to provide individual help to students.
Teachers will be asked to facilitate an after-class activity, such as a club or group pursuit.
Stipends will be based on time expectations for these activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in reflecting intimate knowledge of English literature and English teaching experience for 3 years is preferred.
Able to teach students the intricacies of research writing.
Knowledge of the AP (Advanced Placement) curriculum is a plus but not required.
Teaching certificate is a plus, but not required.
Be a native English speaker (mandatory) ESL Certificate is a plus, but not mandatory Have excellent communication skills Be passionate about learning and teaching.
