The successful candidate will serve as KWSH’s lead engineer for station water pumping systems and related electrical and electromechanical infrastructure across the portfolio.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pumping Systems and Electromechanical Infrastructure
Supporting specification, sizing, selection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of water pumps and related electromechanical equipment.
- Supporting troubleshooting and performance optimization of pumping systems across stations.
- Coordinating between engineering and operations on electromechanical projects.
- Supporting review of technical proposals related to electromechanical systems from external vendors, including specifications, quotations, and deliverables.
- Supporting lifecycle management and replacement planning for critical electromechanical assets.
- Electrical System and Power Management
Supporting electrical system planning and management across stations, including load management, capacity planning, and voltage stability.
- Supporting analysis and optimization of energy efficiency across the portfolio.
- Supporting implementation and monitoring of electrical safety standards and protection systems.
- Technical Standards and Institutionalization
Supporting development of internal technical standards, SOPs, maintenance procedures, and system documentation for electromechanical infrastructure, including standardized mapping of station electrical systems.
- Supporting training and knowledge transfer to station operations teams on routine electromechanical operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
