About the role

Prepare and oversee financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local standards.
Utilize Xero or QuickBooks for client needs, including COA creation.
Review team’s financial reports and monthly tax declarations.
Provide guidance and training on financial preparation and tax compliance.
Manage tax filings (VAT, Profit Tax, WHT) to ensure regulatory compliance.
Liaise with tax authorities and auditors to resolve queries and facilitate audits.
Lead and mentor accounting team, fostering skill development and efficiency.
Delegate tasks and ensure accuracy in team deliverables.
Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
Provide financial consultancy and solutions for complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the top management team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards, and tax regulations.
Experience in financial reporting, tax filings, and audits.
Proficient in Xero or QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and other accounting software.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
